more information or to arrange a meeting time!
Or, stop by our office on the 3rd floor of Grace
Library. If coming to campus is inconvenient for
you, you are able to access many of the services
by phone or E-mail.
We encourage you to check your Carlow E-mail
account frequently or have it forwarded to your
primary email address. E-mail is the main vehicle
we use to communicate valuable and time sensitive
career information and opportunities to you!
Career Counseling
Arrange an individual meeting to discuss choosing
or changing a major, identifying career options
in your major, or to take the Strong Interest
Inventory to help you identify career interests
and potential occupations.
Resume Development
Get personalized assistance with designing or
customizing your resume
College Central
Network Services
Attend any or all of a variety of career-related
workshops offered throughout the academic year.
Typical workshops include creating your resume,
how to find an internship, planning your job
search strategy and preparing for a successful
interview. Information about job fairs is also
included. Many are local and sponsored by the Career Center at Carlow in partnership
with career services offices of the 43 colleges
and universities in Western Pennsylvania.

Develop your interview skills by participating
in a simulated interview situation. No better
way to prepare!
The Career Zone
is workspace set up with all of the "tools"
you will need to conduct a professional, effective
job or internship search. You have access to
career books and videos, and a computer, printer,
mailing materials and a fax machine to use to
prepare and distribute your application materials.
Or, browse the Vault
Online library and download valuable career
resources and guides for free. Included are
1,100 career advice articles and samples (resumes,
cover letters, interviewing, etc.), information
on occupations, updated employer profiles, industry
overviews and much more! Just call the Career Center at
412-578-6067 for the password and then click
